Hard Day at Work...Not!!
I had the late schedule today - 11:00 - 7:30.
I went to the allergist at 9:00 and then ran back home to throw in a load of wash and scrub the toilets. I left for work, stopped and picked up my iced coffee at Wawa and arrived at work at 11:00 to discover that there was no electricity in the building. Oh Darn!
At 11:10, they told us to take lunch and be back by 12:30. When we came back from lunch, we sat around in the semi-dark until 1:30 when they told us to Go Home!!!
Some of my coworkers were talking about going to Harrah's casino to try their luck, but I didn't even think twice about it. I went straight home, threw another load of wash in the machine, grabbed a book and laid out on my porch swing for the rest of the day.
