I've have had yearly mammograms since my first baseline at age 32 (I'm now 44), and except for two years, I've had to go back in for a second look after every mammogram since then. Although I've come to expect and know I'm going to get the routine "We need to have you come back in for some more pictures," call, it's still scarey every time you get it. After last year's second look my doctor's decided that from now I'm just going to skip the mammogram and go right to the ultrasound. Seems logical being that I always end up having to have one anyways. I'm glad everything came out okay. As I read, I was sweating along with you and the hubby as you were waiting to hear the results. Let us both say prayers for the hundreds of women today who weren't so lucky as you and I. hugs and meows dawn

How scary. I'm sorry you had to go through that, but am so glad everything is okay!

GAH! You poor thing! What a hideous experience. Are you sure you're okay? (Emotionally, that is.) ~LA
