Anything by Elizabeth Berg, particularly "Open House."

I recently read Oxygen, by Carol Cassella, and liked it quite a lot. Am currently reading East of the Sun, by Julia Gregson, and that's pretty good, too. Also really enjoyed The Shell Seekers, by Rosamunde Pilcher, and The Girls, (about conjoined twins) by Lori Lansens. Happy reading!

All of the books I like to read involve some kind of tragedy (what does that say about me?!) so I got no good recommendations for you. And yes you do get kudos for getting your colonoscopy! That prep is not for the wimpy!!

I read mostly Biography's and Autobiographys and so I don't have any Novels to recommend at the moment. Gut if you are at all interested in a Biography..Cloris Leachman's is a very interesting book, and is probably good Summer reading....! It is called "CLORIS".
