Monkey Bread
Tricia asked me what Monkey Bread is, so here's the recipe. I would have included a picture, but they gobbled it down too fast! Basically, it looks like a bunch of cinnamon buns smooshed together in a Bundt Pan. I always make one with pecans and one with raisins. MONKEY BREAD 1 pkg. frozen Rich's bread rolls 1 c. brown sugar 1 box butterscotch pudding (regular, not instant) 1/4 c. granulated sugar 1 stick butter 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. nuts or 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
Grease a bundt pan with butter. Sprinkle raisins or pecans (or both!) in the pan. Put frozen Rich's bread rolls on top of the raisins or nuts. Mix all dry ingredients and put on top of rolls. Drizzle melted butter on top. Cover tightly with foil and let stand on kitchen counter overnight. Bread will thaw and rise. Put in a 350 degree oven in the morning for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes, then turn out onto plate.
