Well, it probably won't work for you anymore, since your kids are older, but the thought that I'll have to drive the boys to school if they miss that bus...that gets me up. I'm glad to read your dad is doing better. And I look forward to your Christmasy things you did every day...Today I ate some peppermint M&Ms in your honor. Really, I did it all for you!!

Sorry to hear how sick and yucky you have been for the last month. Maybe you should turn your heat up a wee tiny bit more than 66 degrees!! I hope that your worries are in vain, and that you get something to ease the discomfort. You must live somewhere were it is warmer though. Yesterday it got only to I think 20 degrees outside, and the winds were 20 some miles an hour. Just take care of yourself woman, I so enjoy what you write on diaryland. :) =^..^=

put your alarm clock on the other side of the room. once your feet hit the cold floor, you should be awake enough to stay up! or move to wisconsin, its fricking cold here!

I thought you sounded more like Jimmy Durante! Heh. Seriously, what gets me out of the bed on a work morning is to set my alarm about a half hour before I actually need to get up. Then when that goes off, I hit the remote for the TV and listen to (not watch) channel 12. Kids shows, so that while my eyes are still closed I get enough auditory stimulation to wake up. After "Sesame Street" goes off and the music to "Maya and Miquel" comes on, my eyes just fly open and up I gets!
